About me.

I provide talks on medieval gardens, and many other subjects too. I provide a laptop, digital projector and screen.

I will dress up in period clothing if you wish and can  bring a display that complements the talk.

The talks are designed to be informative, but also light hearted and can be tailored to your requirements.

Please contact me for further details.

‘Death in the Garden’. Poisonous plants in the garden. Myths, fact, folklore and murder....

‘Gardens in the Age of Chivalry’. The medieval garden, its uses, symbolism and some of the plants that were grown.

‘Many a Sundry Flower’. The uses of plants grown in early gardens. Food, medicine, cosmetics and textiles are amongst the many uses that our ancestors used plants for.

You will be surprised at some of them!

‘Knots and Bowers’. Tudor Gardens. Where did the idea for knot gardens come from?
